We’ve got some other events coming up, too:
- Wednesday, September 28th: In partnership with Citizens Budget Commission at Facebook: New York City’s Competitiveness in Attracting Talent featuring Julie Samuels, Maria Torres-Springer, Serkan Piantino, Jukay Hsu, and Vishaan Chakrabarti. RSVP.
- Thursday, October 6th: In partnership with Cornell Tech @Bloomberg: Harry Kargman and Jessica Rovello in Conversation about building and rebuilding their companies. RSVP.
We had a busy summer, hosting events with Senators Schumer and Gillibrand and spending time getting to know our 300 member companies. We announced an exciting partnership with Elle magazine to study the future of retail and hired our first Policy Director, Jarret Hova (welcome, Jarret!).
Just yesterday, our ED Julie Samuels testified at City Council in support of a bill that would require the City’s Department of Education to report on the progress of CS education in the public schools. And, speaking of, Happy Birthday CS4ALL!

- Our friends at ScriptEd are looking volunteers to help teaching programming to bright high schoolers throughout the city. Will you consider volunteering for ScriptED this year?
