Tech Takes Action is a tool for the New York tech community to stand up for our ideals. Following the Administration’s announcement that it will rescind DACA, we’ve kicked off TTA with three opportunities that focus on helping Dreamers and immigrants in New York and across the country.
This platform provides curated opportunities to speak up, give back, and chip in. We’re starting with a focus on immigration, but we will update this site regularly to give our members and their employees a way to pool resources across the community and stand up for the values that we all believe in. It’s crucial that you sign up now so we can let you know when important opportunities arise. Together our voices are much stronger than they are alone.

Brooklyn Community Foundation Immigrant Rights Fund was founded in late 2016 in response to mounting uncertainty and fear within New York’s immigrant communities, combined with reports of xenophobic and racist attacks nationwide, and the creation exclusionary government policies.

The NYC/CUNY Citizenship Now! Volunteer Corps helps provide free naturalization application assistance throughout New York City. These events are an opportunity for volunteers to make a contribution to our society, and to empower New York City's immigrant communities.
Speak up
Congress is now back in session after the summer recess. This is the time to call and ask your congressman to pass comprehensive bipartisan legislation that will help Dreamers. And, if your company has offices in any of these key congressional districts let them know where you and your colleagues stand.
